OKAY OKAY - yeah! This portfolio says FURNITURE. This isn’t FURNITURE! I mean you COULD sit on it. But… well, that would be awkward. This cutting board is essentially the birth of our business. Designed by Noah in college, we sold these for awhile on etsy while deciding whether or not we wanted to actually dive into this work. Turns out we did, but we haven’t made a cutting board since. But, every once in a while we still think about cutting boards, for better or for worse. These are made from 3/4” off-cuts of richlite laminated with a 1/4” layer of cork for friction. You ever have your cutting board slip out from under you? Richlite and cork are amazingly durable and sustainable materials. We love them both. Pro tip: Always dry your cutting boards upright on a rack if they are made with an organic material (wood, richlite, cork etc…) they will age much faster if you don’t.
