For this project we wanted to challenge ourselves to create a set of tables and benches for kids that require no glue or hardware to assemble. So, that’s what we did! The tables can be disassembled without tools so they can be stored if the space is needed, or they can be easily moved to a new space. Constructed with Baltic birch plywood and laminated with Forbo Furniture Linoleum, they are very durable and sturdy, and the linoleum makes them easy to clean. A design challenge we love to embody and reproduce in other ways in our work, the hardware-less furniture isn’t easy to accomplish, but very satisfying to deliver. Maybe someday we’ll come out with a line of children’s furniture… Who knows where life will take us!
